          Collection consists of audio recordings of interviews with individuals who were active in the Toronto visual art community during Robert Markle’s lifetime, art historians, and friends and family of Robert Markle. Collection also includes two notebooks containing transcriptions and notes. Interviews were created and used in the process of researching Blazing Figures: A Life of Robert Markle. Collection includes interviews with Harvey Cowan, Jack Foster, Anna Hudson, Avrom Isaacs, Craig Kenny, Mitchell Maracle, Susan Maracle, Marlene Markle, Tim Noonan, Gordon Rayner, John Reeves, Richard Gorman, Ruth Grogan, Nobuo Kubota, Don Obe, Helen & Marty Poizner, Michael Sarrazin, Peter Stollery, Hana Trefelt, Michael Snow, Patrick Watson, Paul Young, Jack Aldersley, Kenny Baldwin, Patricia Beatty, Laura Berman, Sheryl Wanagas, Dennis Burton, Vera Frenkel, Ray Hanson, Tom Hill, Jerri Johnson, Rae Johnson, Emmett Maddix, Scott Townson, Murray McLauchlan, Stephen Williams, Gordon Lightfoot, Dennis Reid, Peter Goddard, and Diane Pugen.           Collection consists of posters designed by Will Munro for events organized by him at various venues in downtown Toronto. Posters employ a variety of media and processes, including silkscreen and photocopies. Some of these posters were featured in Will Munro: Total Eclipse, July 31 – September 26, 2010, part of the Toronto Now series of exhibitions at the AGO. Silk-screening of many of the posters was carried out by Michael Comeau.

          Colour slides depicting various sights in and around Sudbury in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Some of the slides are numbered suggesting they were part of a larger slideshow on Sudbury. Slides may have been collected to support claims related to the city expropriation of properties on Borgia Street in the 1960s. Slides were produced by various studios in Ontario.

          Item is picture of buildings including the Sudbury Public Library and four schools taken from behind a fence, cars, and a roadsign advertising "Carpark" with rates. The schools shown on the hill from left to right are College Notre Dame at s s Levis, Mary Mount High School at 165 D'Youville Street, and St. Elizabeth School Of Nursing (nine floor building) at 30 Ste-Anne Road. On the left side of the library is St Aloysius at 164 Mackenzie Street and the Sudbury High School is accross the street at 154 College Street.

          This scrapbook documents various activities of the Soroptimist Club of the Sudbury District from 1968 to their 25th anniversary in 1974. Included are photographs and newspaper clippings from the Soroptimist Scholarship Award Dinner on November 3rd, 1969 at which Edith McLennan, President of the Soroptimist Club of the Sudbury Nickel District, awarded four young student nurses their scholarships. Award recipients present in the photographs are: Margaret Houle, Louise Picard and Mary Hagan, all winners of the Edna L. Moore Scholarships, and Bonita Groulx, winner of the Soroptimist Award. The scrapbook also contains newspaper clippings covering other Soroptimist Club activities and general happenings in the community, including the presentation of a citizenship award to Christine Kleber, a high school student from Lively, Ontario, based on an essay she wrote explaining her commitment to her role in the community; the donation of books to the Sudbury Public Library about First Nations history in Canada, which was part of a larger project undertaken by the Eastern Canadian region of the Soroptimists to promote knowledge of First Nations culture, and a Christmas dinner held by the Soroptimist Club for 100 members of the Soutar Senior Citizens Club. The scrapbook also contains an honourary membership certificate presented to the 'Sudbury Club' by the Eastern Canada Region of the Soroptimists Federation of the Americas Inc. for increasing active members by 20% between March 31, 1969 and March 31, 1970, as well as three pages from the May-June 1971 issue of 'The American Soroptimist,' which includes a photograph of Christine Maria Kleber, as well as other young men and women from across North America who received a 1971 Youth Citizenship Award. Three greeting cards from the Soroptimist Clubs of Thunder Bay, Oshawa and District and Verdun LaSalle congratulating the Sudbury Nickel District chapter on their 25th Anniversary, as well as a handwritten note on the occasion from Nora Jean Quigley, have also been placed inside the scrapbook. Two identical brochures from the Soroptimist International Association promoting their clubs are also included.
